SECURITY MANAGEMENT
TouchVue connects to a PcVue Web Server using Microsoft IIS and OAuth technologies to manage security in conjunction with the enterprise firewall. By handling user rights and authentication, TouchVue provides real-time notifications and access to PcVue’s variables, alarm lists, and historical data in polling mode. These interactions are secured through RESTful/JSON web services over HTTPS, ensuring encrypted data exchange with SSL V2.
