Software platform for real-time alarms reporting, notifications and escalation
Alert™ is able to treat alarms and to execute commands from different sources (Automation software, PLC’s, files, databases…), offering operation control, reduced downtime and maintenance efficiency at any level. Alert™ displays multiple capabilities, such as alarm management, operator or on-duty group calling, and the execution of specific actions lists.
ALERT™ ISSUES INFORMATION THROUGH VARIOUS MEDIA
Integrated in the PcVue platform, Alert™ connects with the core PcVue server through a dedicated OPC interface.
- Email: to receive written reports of the alarms detected and their contexts.
- Telephone: operators are called by telephone, listen to alarms and acknowledge them through the integrated voice server.
- Short messages (SMS): to alert operators working offsite via mobile phone or pager.
- Dedicated paging systems: to quickly alert maintenance operators working on site.
- Internet browser, mobile or desktop.The calls are also logged by Alert™, together with the operators’ acknowledgements of them and sent back to PcVue.
