The cooperative project FUSE IT was developed between 2014 and 2017 by ARC Informatique as well as 18 international companies (Belgian, French, Portuguese and Turkish) as part of the ITEA R & D program, dedicated to software innovation. ITEA, Information Technology for European Advancement, is a cluster of the EUREKA initiative that aims to foster research, development and innovation.
FUSE IT has designed an intelligent building management system dedicated to Smart & Critical Buildings (hospitals, universities, research or industry centers, energy equipment …). Each of the various partners, from major industrial groups, SMEs, or academia, participated in the development of a solution based on the principle of interconnection. The four different modules that are usually independent from BMS; energy, equipment, information and communication technologies (ICT) and security are linked by computer and electrical networks, in order to develop a centralized and secure solution.
A complex project that has allowed the creation of a secure and innovative management system, built on the expertise of each of its stakeholders. In particular, ARC Informatique provided the monitoring tool with a mobile human machine interface (HMI), allowing the display and control of the various sensors and networks, as well as anomalies coming from all modules. The FUSE IT solution has been successfully tested in the São João hospital in Portugal, paving the way for a new kind of BMS system.
During the Innovation Days organized by EUREKA in Helsinki in May 2018, ITEA awarded the FUSE IT project the 2018 Prize of Excellence in the Innovation category, recognizing the joint efforts of PcVue Solutions and the 18 companies, universities and partner organizations.
The 18 partners who contributed to the project and its success are for France: Airbus CyberSecurity, Institut Mines-Télécom, ICAM Nantes, V-TREEM, CEA List, SOGETI High Tech, University of La Rochelle, Thales Research & Technology, Thales System and the University of Burgundy.
For Portugual, ISEP-GECAD, Evoleo Technology, IP-BRICK and São João Hospital. For Belgium, NIKO and i-Minds. And for Turkey, MOSBIT and CTECH.
