From November 16th to 19th 2015, the BACnet Interest Group China and Asia (BIG-CA) held for the first time ever in Asia a succession of 3 events on a 5-days stretch, a BACnet forum, a BACnet training and a Plugfest. PcVue China as a founding member of BIG-CA was glad to take part in the event that took place in Sheraton Four Points Hotel in Shenzhen, southern China. (more info)
To support this ambitious educational campaign, BIG-CA received a tremendous support from BACnet International (BI), BACnet Interest Group-Europe (BIG-EU) and ASHRAE SSPC 135 Committee. Chairmen of respective organization travelled to Shenzhen to deliver speeches and share their vision of BACnet technology and its impact in the building industry.
As the Chinese government has put strong emphasis on the smart city and green city in its 12th five-year plan, the BIG-CA promotes BACnet as the perfect technology to support innovation in the building management and achieve the ambitious goal of 600 smart Chinese cities by 2020. This year forum theme was “Open door to Green Building”.
Nicolas TRANG, Chief Representative of PcVue China and treasurer of BIG-CA gave a speech on BIG-CA performances and future activities but also on the benefits of BACnet technology and the importance of the BTL certification for optimal implementation results. As an open standard facilitating interoperability, BACnet has been proven efficient and is now adopted in thousands of projects in mainland China.
Alex WANG, sales Manager at PcVue China, made the demonstration of a B-OWS application in a real LEEDS certified project, showcasing how an automation system piloted by PcVue as a B-OWS (BTL Certified) can leverage a whole campus energy efficiency.
PcVue also participated in the PlugFest with the likes of Siemens, Delta Controls, HMS, etc. to make sure its recently B-OWS certified product interoperate with different BACnet vendors seamlessly, ensuring peace of mind for the users.
