Summary:

Error message “Var::SetWatchAtLaunch, Invalid Value” in the event viewer in version 8.10
Details:

Such a message is due to a bad setting of field 21, of any variable, in varexp.dat file:

This field defines the way a variable is refreshed in mimics.

event_viewer_message

Herebelow the 3 possible values for Permanent scan for mimics

0 stands for All stations (default value)
1 stands for none
2 stands for Server Station

Any other value is not allowed and will cause the “Var::SetWatchAtLaunch , Invalid Value” error message in the event viewer
