This article recommends a configuration for use with double word frames with Applicom.
Details:

There are two possible formats for coding 32 bit words:

INTEL or LMSB

15 – 0

31 – 16

INTEL or MLSB

31 – 16

15 – 0

The default format expected by PcVue is INTEL. In some cases, the date are stored in the PLC in MOTOROLA format. Depending on the protocol and version, PcVue handles both INTEL and MOTOROLA format.

When configuring a double word on a real frame you should match the frame format with the PLC data format.

Note

In some case, the protocol inverts data (MSB and LSB). In such a case it is important to consider it in the configuration.
