Details:
The user that starts Pcvue must have the Modify Permission for the installation folders. The rights on the installation folders after a Pcvue install are: From Windows 2012 Server onwards, even if a user is a member of the Administrators group, they are considered as a normal user by the system. As a consequence they will not have the necessary rights on the installation folder and will be unable to start PcVue. To be able to start PcVue you can give ‘Modify’ rights to the user but the best practice is to create a group (named PcVue for example), give ‘Modify’ rights to this group and add the user to it. A reboot is then necessary. |
