This article defines the versions of Unity that are compatible with Smart Generator.
Details:

Unity is Schneider Electric’s software workshop for PLCs. The PcVue Smart Generator tool imports OPC variables from a Unity project.

For the import to work, you must install these versions:

  1. UNITY PRO: XL.
  2. Schneider OPC Server: OFS 3.2.
  3. PcVue: Version 8.00 and later.

Only the XL version of UNITY PRO provides the UDE (Unity Developer’s Edition) interface that is needed for interworking with Smart Generator. (Versions S and L of UNITY PRO do not work with it.)
