Applies to:
PcVue version 7.20 to version 9.0 |
Summary:
You try to uninstall a version of PcVue but nothing happens. |
Details:
Two copies of PcVue with the same version cannot be installed on the same computer. Attempting this normally results in a request to uninstall the existing copy of PcVue. However, if the PcVue types are not exactly the same (OEM/ARC Informatique, ENA/VBA Beta/Release, sometimes different Build Number), the uninstallation does not work and displays a message such as: A PcVue version 8.10 Enable Build 9202 has been detected. This is not a mistake. An ENA version cannot be used to uninstall a VBA version, and vice versa; likewise a beta version cannot be used to uninstall a release version, etc. These incompatibilities are due to the fact that the different versions do not contain the same components. How to handle it You just do as the message asks, uninstall via the Windows Control Panel – Add/remove programs. |
