When a text drawing element’s text and background colours were set to the Transparent colour, either from its properties or by colour animation, its behaviour depended only on the version of PcVue:

However some PcVue users rely on the previous behaviour, so for backward compatibility a flag has been provided to enable it.

Solution

A specific record must be added to the PARAMWS.DAT file, in the project’s C folder.

1. Set its flag as follows:

2. Restart PcVue to apply the changed setting to all text elements with the Transparent colour.
