When you want to start PcVue at Windows startup the protection key is not recognized and PcVue asks you to reread the key. After that, every thing is OK, the key is correctly recognized. The reason is that the Sentinel driver isn’t loaded at this time. To solve that, follow these steps:

1. Open the “Device Manager” window.
2. In the “View” menu select the option “Show hidden devices”.
3. In the treeview, select “Non-Plug and Play Drivers \ Sentinel” and open its Properties window.
   
4. Select System for the Startup Type in the Driver tab.
