Secure PcVue Mail Sender for GmailIntroductionA less secure app (LSA) is an app that connects to Google accounts using only username and password verification for access and not OAuth. Generally, you should only allow your users to use external apps that connect to Google accounts via OAuth, as LSAs make user accounts more vulnerable to hijacking. PcVue Mail Sender blocked by GmailRecently PcVue mail sender is not working anymore using smtp.gmail.com as a smtp server without turning on “Allow less secure apps”. Please don’t turn on the option for a free gmail account and Gsuite account. After June 15, 2020 – Users who try to connect to an LSA for the first time will no longer be able to do so. You must create your App password instead and follow the steps as below. Manage your Google accountStep validation with the help of your phone numberPlease activate the 2-step verification.
Create App “sv32” Password Click “Application passwords” and logon using your e-mail address and your account password to create an App password. Select an application Click other (Custom name): input “sv32” and click the button “GENERATE” Copy & paste the Application password **** **** **** **** The App password has been created with an e-mail notification Use App “sv32” PasswordUse the created App “sv32” password instead of your account password. |
