| Summary:
The SCADA Basic editor stores the most recent position of the editor window at the time it was last opened. If the window opens up in an invisible part of the screen it then appears to be impossible to return to PcVue. This is because the editor is a modal window meaning it has to be closed before returning to the PcVue main window (workspace). |

| Solution:
First check if the shortcut Alt+F4 is working. If so it means that the SCADA Basic editor window is outside of the visible area, often because previously the window was on a second display which is now unavailable. To recover it use the keyboard shortcut Alt+Space and then Move to move the window to the visible area (by moving the cursor downwards once or pressing the L key in Windows XP). Then hold down the back arrow to make the Editor reappear on the left. |
