Using this tool you can, for instance, ask for change of following properties :

• Licence type: Change your Runtime dongle to a Development or Complete.
• Add a new option – for example add a new protocol or web client access.
• Upgrade from 250 to 5000 variables.
• Update to a newer PcVue version (9.0 to 10.0 for example).

This tool can be used to upgrade / update the protection key of following products:

The Remote License Manager is delivered with the product installation media.

How does the procedure work?

1. Order the upgrade / update that you require from your software supplier.
2. Install the Remote License Manager.
3. Run the Remote License Manager to select the option <Ask for a license upgrade>. Send the file (.DAT) this generates to your software supplier. The file will be processed and you will be sent in return an Upgrade Code File (.LIC).
4. Run the License Manager once again and select <Upgrade my license now> to complete the upgrade.
