Solution

To modify the DualHead multiple display parameters:

1. Open the Advanced properties for the displays:
   • Right-click on the Windows Desktop, then select Display Properties.Settings.Advanced.
   • Select the DualHead tab.
2. Select Change Settings to open the DualHead Multi-displays dialog:
   • Check the box “Use DualHead Multi-displays”.
   • Select “Same resolution and same colour palette for both displays”.
3. Select OK in each dialog to apply the changes.
4. Re-boot the PC. The display will only appear on main screen (usually on the left).

Then extend the display across both screens:

1. Right-click on the Windows Desktop to open Properties.
2. Change the resolution to cover both screens (e.g. to 2048 by 768 pixels).
3. Select OK to close the dialog.

The display expands to include the second screen, as does the Task Bar.
