First read the article titled Managing Data Sources on the Microsoft web site. You should be able to find it by opening the web site and searching for the title.

When using ODBC either in the archive units or SCADA Basic instruction SVSQL, PcVue only supports the 32-bit interface.

With x64 operating systems, do not use the standard HMI for the ODBC source but instead the WOW64 executable with the same filename but found in another location – C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe

Any existing DSN must first be removed and then recreated with the same name.
