%s is the PcVue variable name.

Explanation

When you create a new variable in PcVue, the Event Viewer will return the above message if you specified OPC in the frame Type of the variable description and you do not specify the field Server in the OPC frame.

Check that you have completed the Server field in the variable description of the variable to which the message refers.
