Summary:

This article explains how to you can create variables and actions with an external tool, then import your files when starting PcVue.


Details:

French PcVue: 5246, Mode IMPORTATION
English PcVue: 5247, IMPORT

  1. Add a -i attribute to your command line for starting PcVue. For example:

C:\PcVue\Bin\sv32.exe -i

  1. The following window will open before the application loads:

Window_IMPORT

  1. In this window, list the files that contain the new parameters. These files must be placed in the C folder of your project.

The IMPORT mode is very helpful if you want to add new variables or actions using external tools. Contrary to the INCLUDE mode, you just need to import your files once, and your application will be updated. You can also modify the new parameters from your application. These modifications will be taken into account in the next start-up of the project.

The message IMPORT indicates that you are importing files to your PcVue project.
