Applies to:

PcVue all versions when running on a Dell computer.
Summary:

On some Dell computers there is a tool, installed by default, called Open Manager. This program is visible in Windows Task Manager and started automatically when Windows start.

It has been observed to generate many memory handle problems as a reult of which Windows may be very unstable and crash.
Solution:

  1. Download and install an Open Manager upgrade (up to 3.7). This solution has been proposed but not tested.
    OR
  2. Uninstall Open Manager: (In Add/Remove programs, it is called  OMSI)
