1. In project settings you must ensure that the property Permanent scan for all variables is NOT set.

2. For all variables, except any used in SCADA Basic, set Permanent scan for mimics to None.

3. For all variables ensure Saved is NOT set.

4. Adjust the polling timing for your specific use in order to avoid communication if it’s not necessary.
    If possible make the polling period 60 seconds or greater.

5. Alarms should be configured with the property Use default parameters set. This means PcVue will use the properties of the Lonworks Server for variable change notification.
