Applies to:

PcVue version 9.0 onwards.

Summary:

The number of variables allowed per project can be read in the VarConf.dat file at start-up or can be defined via a start-up option.

Details:

Since PcVue version 9.0 the number of variables has been configurable. You can find it in the varconf.dat file, in the [VARIABLE] section:

The format is as follows:

[VARIABLE]
MaximumNumber=300000

The MaximumNumber property here contains the maximum number of variables allowed. By default it is 300000, while the maximum is of 1000000.

Note: The option “-l xxx” on the command line for starting PcVue also lets you change the maximum number of variables to xxx.

Obviously, you will need to have a Complete key to set the maximum limit.
