To run, just unzip the file attached to this article and run the executable. It does not need to be installed.

Please note that:

• the utility uses the Sentinel system drivers which are normally installed with PcVue. If the Sentinel drivers are not installed they can be found on, and installed from, the PcVue distribition media.
• If you unzip the attached file in Bin directory of PcVue, you will then be able to launch Remote License Manager Utility from the Tools menu

The Licence Utility dialog has 4 tabs, General, Data Acquisition, Options & Network Licences and a menu.

General tab

Primary information about the licence including the Serial Number, Type (Standard, Client, Server etc.) Mode (development, run-time or complete), Tag Size and Expiry Date. Also contains the details of any Web Services options.

Data Acquistion tab

The number of native communication drivers allowed (Communication Channels) plus any other communication options in particular those that are chargeable extras.

Options tab

Secondary licence options. VBA and Audit are selected by default.

Network Licences

The contents and configuration of any additional licences if the dongle is configured as a Network Dongle.

Menu Commands

• Tools.Export licence information to file – After export, a dialog displays the path and file name.
• Tools.Copy licence information to clipboard – Generates the same information as export to file but puts it on the clipbaord. (Also available from a button.)
• Tools.Read dongle – Force a re-read of the dongle. Useful if you have several dongles to check. (Also available from a button.)
• Tools.Dongle information – Displays the physical characteristics of the dongle itself.
• About.About License Utility – Displays the version of the utility.
