When PcVue is installed on the Windows 2003 Server: after installation of the .NET (‘.NET’) Framework, there is a routine error message about languages (LangPackSetup). It halts the installation of PcVUE. For information on .NET installation failures on installation:

Example In a particular case, the file LangPackSetup1036.log shows these error messages: [05/03/04,17:15:52] Message: The product that you tried to install was already installed using your operating system. Use Windows Update to install the last updates. [05/03/04,17:15:52] Install.exe returned 0. Solution To avoid installing .NET, you must make the installation program behave as if .NET was already installed. (See the Notes below.) So in this context, to eliminate the error message:
When you have added the keys, you can follow the normal installation procedure. Notes .NET and its Language Packs are installed unless they are detected on the target machine. In PcVue 7.20a, .NET is used only for the file SvImageConverter.dll and hence for WebVue. It is not essential, since if .NET is not installed the previous converter UiConverter.dll will work instead of SvImageConverter.dll. Even then, SvImageConverter may not be required by the project.
