Details:
When SafeNet Sentinel software in installed then de-installed, it sometimes leaves a trace of having been on the PC. If you then try to install an earlier version than the one that was removed, you get an error message to say that a newer version was detected. Solution You have to run a tool called SSDCleanUp. Its use is explained on pages 11-12 and 28 of the SafeNet Sentinel Troubleshooting Guide.
