This article explains how to read a PcVue variable from Excel.
Details:

Solution for real-time values

  • Enter =SV|DB!VariableName in the EXCEL cell.
  • Replace VariableName by your PcVue variable.

Warn

If you have many DDE links, this may degrade the performance of your PC.

Solution for non real-time values

Generally you do not need the realtime value. When you do not, follow these steps in Excel:

  1. Select the Edit menu and the option Link.
  2. Select All and change Automatic to Manual.

The values are refreshed when you open the worksheet in Excel.
