Applies to:

PcVue 15 onwards and its associated SnapVue version.

Summary:

When using SnapVue to connect to a mobility server, you will need specific information details like the Host name, User name, Password…

You can type them manually inside the application, but to save time it is also possible to generate a QR code containing these information.

You will just have to launch SnapVue and scan this QR code in order to connect to the mobility server.

Details:

First, find on internet a website dedicated to generate QR Codes (there are plenty).

Then, Select the Text type QR code and write the folowing syntax by replacing the fields with the corresponding information of your mobility server:

 {
“Alias”:”Demo server”,
“Host”:”mobility.pcvuesolutions.com”,
“Port”:”443″,
“IgnoreCertificateErrors”:true,
“ReadOnly”:false,
“Username”:”maint”,
“Password”:”maint”
}

 Note:

  • All these properties are texts;
  • The ReadOnly property allow these properties to be modified from the SnapVue application;
