Summary:

This article describes how PcVue manages its archives during the summer and winter time change periods. It follows a verification plan made in 2011, which studies the 2 particular past periods:

  • 31 October 2010 for summer -> winter time change
  • 27 March 2011 for winter -> summer time change

Data recording

Two PcVue versions must be considered because of a change in the way timestamps are managed.

  • Trend Viewer
  • Log Viewer
  • SCADA Basic (SvTrend & SvLog)

In the following information Trend Viewer also applies to SvTrend and Log Viewer to SvLog.

Summer -> Winter time change period (October)

31 October 2010 contains the period 02:00AM – 03:00AM twice as below:
