Summary:
This article explains the manner in which the system variable TIME is updated for use in PcVue’s functions. |
Details:
The PcVue variable TIME changes every second internally in the PcVue core (consisting of the modules VAR, UI and UIGA) that supports the User Interface functions (including SCADA Basic, calculation for expressions, triggering of events etc.). You can check its value in the Variable Selector, via a SCADA Basic script or in a Text animation. This behavior is normal. To avoid overloading of the software components, the core of PcVue notifies to all other components only every 10 seconds. So if you check this variable with an OPC client, the Web Services Toolkit or any other non-core component, you see it changing every 10 seconds. For further information For further information about the TIME and the other system variables search the PcVue help for System Variables. |
