PcVue all versions.
This article contains obsolete references.

Summary:

Possible methods for communicating using FIP or ModBus+.

Details:

We can connect PcVue to a FIP network with an Applicom board.

Another possibility is to use the OFS OPC server and a USB cable connected to a TSX CUSB FIP module.

Solution :

For the ModBus+ communication, there is also an USB convertor (TSX CUSB MBP) and there is no need to use OFS OPC server. It works with CIMWAY and Modbus+ driver of PcVue.

Important note about ModBus+: If you start the communication, and the USB module is not connected, PcVue may crash with no information in sv32.exception file.
