The first %s is the Server alias in PcVue.
The second %s is the NetBios name of the computer on which the OPC server is located.

Explanation

In this case, the OPC server and the PcVue application are considered to be on different stations.

The message indicates that the OPC server and the PcVue application cannot communicate. There are two main reasons for this lack of communication :

  • The remote station is not accessible.
  • A security problem prevents connection to the remote station.
