PcVue all versions.

Summary:

This article refers describes how you can configure the data flow when replaying events in VCR mode.

Details:

You can set the thresholds for stopping and starting the playback of events so as to avoid high levels of loading on the PC. You do this by editing a configuration file; the settings are not configurable in the HMI.

  1. Find the file VARCONF.DAT in folder C of the project and make a backup copy of it.
  2. Open VAREXP.DAT in a text editor and find the section ‘VCR\QueueRegulation’.
  3. In that section, set the following values:VCR\QueueRegulation]
    SuspensionThreshold=1000
    ContinuationThreshold=10
  4. Save and close the file. Restart the Supervisor and test the outcome.
  5. You may need to experiment to find suitable settings.

The thresholds will now control the data flow.

Warn

Do not modify any other values of file VARCONF.DAT unless you know precisely what you are doing.
