Summary:
This article explain the differents steps to configure a LON project using NL220 and PcVue. |

Required hardware:
The configuration need to be done on : NB: After the installation of NL220, you need to configure the Network card, follow the step described below
I- Configuration of the LIP To configure the LIP there is two possibilities 1- On LIP web interface a- You need to define which LIP is the server (only one can be made as server on your architecture) b- Configure all address IP for other equipments such as : LINX, other LIP …, Add the IP address of the machine where NL220 is used NB : All the equipments need to have in state column a green check (be enable)
2- On Echelon Configuration Server Declare the IP address of the machine where is used the NL220 and declare all the IP addresses of the equipments. II- Configuration of NL220 At startup of NL 220: if a license is connected you can create a new project, otherwise you must start the project DEMO 1- Lunch the SmartChannel First you need to select “Attaché”, then follow the steps bellow 2- Insert all the equipment of your infrastructure (LIP, LINX) A- Select the adequate equipment
B- Install/ commission of the equipment: Right click on the LIP -> Network -> Install C- Insert the Neuron ID Three possibilities – Send the PIN service by the web interface – By pressing the button PIN on the equipment – Write the Neuron ID NB : Repeat the steps A,B and C for each equipments.
3- Insert the API A- Right click on Locations, and select add new node
B- Select Canal and Subnet Insert the Neuron ID. By pressing the button PIN on the equipment, or Write the Neuron ID.
C- To read the contents of the API you need to install/insert the adequate Plugins In case you’re using Wago API you need to install Wago TOPLON. Connect the Plugins to the API.
III- Configuration in PcVue 1- Create the LON network (connect to the LON DB) 2- Add a node (connect to the API) NB: For the optimization see the LonWorks Optimization
