Summary:

This article describes how to configure a connection to the Eurotherm LIN OPC Server.
Details:To communicate with a LIN OPC server from Eurotherm, you must adjust the group definition.

For the OPC group:

  1. Open the OPC Group Properties dialog.

LIN_OPC_server_settings

  1. In the Advanced Parameters tab, select Data Formatting.Data type conversion to the option: Done by the OPC server.

For the LIN OPC Server:

  1. Open the LIN OPC configuration file for editing:

C:\PROGRAM FILES\EUROTHERM\LINOPC\DEFACCSS.CSV

  1. Define the group name you created in the OPC client.
