PcVue version 9.0 onwards.
The BACnet implementation from PcVue version 11.2 onwards uses different technology to which this article is not applicable.


Summary:

You will find below, a reminder about the meaning of the BACnet status variables.


Details:

The device inherits errors codes of network.

There are 6 possible status:

–       Status 0 : no error
–       Status 1:  Disconnected, communication is broken (for device)
–       Status 2:  Disabled, BACnet Data Server service not installed (for network and device)
–       Status 3:  Disabled, BACnet Data Server can’t start, check the BACnet Data Server service (Problem start of BDS, PcVue code generated errors during the connection to the BDS service, for example: the BDS version installed is not the required version or the service is started but the entries of assembly of BdsSdk.dll have not been added to the registry). (for network and device)
–       Status 4: Disabled, BACnet Data Server service is not running, check the BACnet Data Server service (for network and device)
–       Status 5:  Warning, the watchdog is not correctly configurated, the state of device is unknown. (for device)
