PcVue version 9.0 to version 11.1.
BACnet communication in PcVue version 11.2 onwards uses different technology to which this article is not applicable.
Summary:

BACnet devices (equipment), connected via a router, may not be discovered when BdsAdmin is scanning the network.
Details:

In the following architecture BASnet devices are located on a LON network. PcVue can access to BACnet / LON router device but is not able to see devices objects of equipment 1 to 4. In order to overcome this issue, you must force, in the BDSAdmin configuration, “network” parameter to the same value as the one configured in the LonTalk network. For information, LonTalk “network” default value is usually 100.
