Brand Usage Policy For ARC Informatique Marketing Materials By Third-Party Companies
1. APPLICATION
Third-party companies that wish to utilize ARC Informatique marketing materials must follow the requirements described in this policy below.
2. AUTHORIZED PARTIES
The third-party company must be either 1) an active member of ARC Informatique’s Partner Program or Distributor Program where “active” means that the company has purchased a product or service in the past 12 months; or 2) a public media company, or 3) a company actively collaborating with ARC Informatique on co-marketing activities.
2.1 Integrator and Distributor Program Members
All available materials that third-party companies (integrators or distributors) may use in their own marketing are located in the website in Resources Brand section. These materials are available to use as is and according to the terms set forth in this policy. If the third-party company wishes to use any part of any written copy, artwork, or design layout of any marketing material, prior written permission must be requested via email to marketing@arcinfo.com and received by the Head of marketing of ARC Informatique.
2.2 Public Media Companies
Public Media Companies may use the ARC Informatique, PcVue, SnapVue, TouchVue, WebVue, FrontVue, PlantVue, and Cimway logos and trademarks according to our Logo and Trademark Usage Policy. If the public media company wishes to use any part of any written copy, artwork, or design layout of any marketing material, prior written permission must be received via email to marketing@arcinfo.com.
2.3 Co-Marketing Collaborating Companies
These companies are defined as organizations that are actively collaborating with ARC Informatique on co-marketing activities that are expressly approved in writing by ARC Informatique’s Head of Marketing. These companies may use the ARC Informatique, PcVue, SnapVue, TouchVue, WebVue, FrontVue, PlantVue, and Cimway logos and trademarks according to our Logo and Trademark Usage Policy. If these companies wish to use any part of any written copy, artwork or design layout of any marketing material, prior written permission must be received via email to marketing@arcinfo.com.
3. ORIGINAL SOURCE FILES
No original source files will be distributed to a third-party company with No exceptions. Original source files include, but are not limited to, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, etc.
4. PROPER TRADEMARK NOTICE MUST BE USED
All ARC Informatique trademarks must be given proper credit to ARC Informatique, including the entire trademark ; all usage must clearly communicate that all ARC Informatique logos and trademarks are owned solely by the company.
The first time any registered ARC Informatique product, as noted above, is mentioned on any web page, sales sheet, presentation, or other marketing piece, it must be referenced by its full name “_____________________ by ARC Informatique”.
The following Registered mark attribution disclaimer shall be used:
“Product” is a registered mark and the property of ARC INFORMATIQUE, its subsidiaries and affiliates companies. All rights reserved.
“Product” is one of the product listed above. The disclaimer above should appear in font no smaller than 6-point size on external-facing materials where the “product”/logo is used.
4.1 Using Copy, Images or Design Layouts
ARC Informatique materials provided on the website may be used as is by third-party companies.
4.1.1 Written Copy
Written copy from ARC Informatique product data sheets and brochures may be used as is for listing product descriptions on your site or company’s marketing materials as long as the third-party company uses the proper trademark notice (see above, ProperTrademarkNoticeMustBeUsed).
4.1.2 Images & Artwork
If individual images are provided on the website brand resources section, these may be used and incorporated into the third party’s marketing materials. Images must never be altered without prior written email approval from the ARC Informatique Head of Marketing.
Warning: Using images not provided on the website without express written consent may expose a third-party company to liability for copyright infringement. Only images provided on the website are acceptable for a third-party company to use.
4.1.3 Design Layouts
Layouts and visual designs in ARC Informatique’s marketing materials may never be used by a third-party company. Third-party companies wishing to create marketing materials must use their own layouts and visual design.
4.1.4 Slide Presentations
A few slide presentations are available for third-party companies to utilize when presenting ARC Informatique products. The copy may be modified to suit the thirdparty company’s needs, and it must be clearly represented that the products presented are from ARC Informatique. Proper trademark notice must be given (see above, Proper Trademark Notice Must Be Used). If in doubt, please refer your questions to marketing@arcinfo.com.
4.1.5 Websites
No copy, images, or designs that appear on any of ARC Informatique’s websites may be reproduced, in part or in whole, without express written consent of the Head of Marketing of ARC Informatique. If product information is desired, third-party companies may use the copy in product data sheets or brochures (see above, Using Copy, Images or Design Layouts).
4.1.6 Redistribution of Digital Materials
For security and copyright reasons, we do not allow other companies to distribute ARC Informatique software products via a direct download from their own website.
All download requests should be routed to the PcVue software download page at: https://pcvue.com/downloads/
Case studies, white papers, videos, and other digital marketing assets may be redistributed by linking to the file or webpage on ARC Informatique’s servers; ARC Informatique may move or remove the file or page on its servers at any time without notice, rendering the link broken, without any liability whatsoever to ARC Informatique.
If the third-party company desires to distribute digital assets by any other method, it must receive prior written consent via email from the Head of Marketing of ARC Informatique before placing it on the organization’s servers for download via a website,
email link, ad, or other digital distribution method. ARC Informatique may revoke redistribution usage for all or for any specific digital asset at any time.
4.1.7 Modifications
All digital assets are copyrighted by ARC Informatique. Any modified copy, artwork, or layout that a third-party company may wish to use must be approved in writing prior to such use via email by ARC Informatique’s marketing department.
Copyright notice must be clearly denoted on all materials originating from ARC Informatique. No quotes may be re-attributed to another individual, or modified in any way except for language translation.
4.1.8 Translations
Third-party companies that wish to translate ARC Informatique marketing materials may do so in the following manner:
1. Check with ARC Informatique’s marketing department (send email to marketing@arcinfo.com) to confirm that the material is approved to be translated.
2. If approved, create a text file (Microsoft Word document is preferred) with the translated text.
3. Clearly identify in English what each translated text is. Unclear translations may be rejected at ARC Informatique’s discretion.
4. Submit the text file along with a request (in English) of what materials are being modified with the translation.
Accepted translations are at the sole discretion of ARC Informatique’s marketing department and notice of acceptance shall be provided in writing via email. No such translation may be used prior to receipt of such consent.
4.1.9 Rights to Use
ARC Informatique reserves all rights to all content, slogans, logos, diagrams, artwork, and designs. If a translation is made by a third-party company of ARC Informatique’s materials, ARC Informatique has non-exclusive rights to the translated materials. Any translations of any document, in whole or in part, do not give the third-party company any legal authority or right to reuse or redistribute the documents to other companies or individuals for re-use or redistribution. The third-party company has the nonexclusive right to use any translated documents only as long as they meet all the requirements of this document. These rights to use may be revoked by ARC Informatique at any time at its discretion without prior notice. Failure to comply with any of the above will result in the third-party company losing its non-exclusive right to use ARC Informatique marketing materials, in whole and in part.
