%s is the PcVue variable name.

Cause of problem

When you create a new variable in PcVue, the Event Viewer will return the above message if you specified OPC in the frame type of the variable description and you do not specify the field Item in the OPC frame.

Solution

Check that you have completed the Item field in the description of the variable to which the message refers.
