Summary:
This article describes how to overcome a limitation concerning mimic templates with VBA/Enable scripts. |
Details:
You can associate a script with a mimic template, for instance to run when it opens. When you associate a mimic with the template, you might expect the script from the template to run when that mimic opens. However due to a limitation in PcVue, that does not occur. Solution You must associate the script directly with the action (Open etc.) of the mimic rather than the template. Graphic object with script
A graphic object in a mimic associated with a mimic template can cause a script associated with that graphic object in the mimic template to run. For further information For basic use of mimic templates, see the book on Mimic Templates in the main Help for PcVue. For associating scripts with mimics and graphic objects, see the Help documents for VBA or Enable. |
