Summary:

Starting October 1, 2022, Microsoft did strengthen authentication for access to Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) email accounts by making combined enrollment, also called modern authentication, mandatory.

If you are using PcVue’s email function with an O365 account, you will have to reconfigure the email profile to use an App password instead of the user password.

1/ Make sure the O365 account administrator has enabled the use of App passwords

3/ Modify the email profile configuration in your PcVue project

The user name remains unchanged, but use the App password instead of the user password. And test that the email sending works correctly.
