PcVue versions before 7.00e (see Solution below) with Windows 95, 98, NT and 2000.

This solves a migration problem with the Alarm Counter separator.

There is a compatibility problem with PcVue. Since PcVue  6.10g, use of the ‘#’ separator for Alarm counters is forbidden. This is due to problems with SCADA Basic.

Alarm Counters using this separator are no longer refreshed by PcVue.

Nevertheless, some projects still use this separator. It would take a great deal of effort to change all instances of ‘#’, even if that were possible.

Solution :

Since PcVue 6.10i, it is again possible to achieve compatibility with those earlier projects

Edit the file PARAM.DAT by adding following line before the TUNNING2 line:

SVOLDALMCNTSEP,1

This change has also been implemented in PcVue 7.00e.
