Summary:

Prior to these versions, sometimes in the Install.log file, we find the following error:
Error: Setup has detected that the file ‘C:\DOCUME~1\<user>\LOCALS~1\Temp\VSD44A.tmp\<prq>\aimsiexecandlog.exe’ has either changed since it was initially published or may be corrupt.
Details:

The cause of this error is that the file is actually missing. The likely reason is that the Aniti-Virus software mistakenly quarantines the copy of aimsiexecandlog.exe that is in the temporary file folder.

The installation has been modified from the above versions onwards to circumvent this problem but, as a consequence, the log files associated with the relevant prerequisites are no longer created in the temporary folder of the user, but in the folder C:\Windows\Temp. Depending on the PC’s configuration, these log files may only be accessible to a User with administration rights. The affected files are:
– 10.0 SP2: aimsxml.log, aiopccore.log, aisqlbc.log, aisqlclrtyp.log, aisqlncli.log n and aisqlsmo.log
– 11 Update: aisqlbc.log, aisqlncli.log, aisqlsmo.log and aisqlclrtyp.log

Workaround for previous versions of PcVue:
– Install the affected prerequisites manually based on the msi: SQL prerequisites (8.10, 8.2, 9.0, 10.0 and 11) and OPC (10.0 only)
– Or temporarily disable the Anti-Virus (NOT recommended)
