Summary:

This article contains information about the libraries supplied with version PcVue 11 and FrontVue 11.


Details:

Since the version 11, new sets of libraries are supplied with PcVue/FrontVue

Many objects in these libraries contain texts which can be displayed in different languages depending on the language selected during installation.

Here below the details of what we deliver on DVD package

PcVue

1 lib FR/EN 

Other languages on specific request : 

lib XX/EN   

 

The rule is :

L1 : Installation language,L2 : EN 

The good set of lib is installed depending on the installation language :

Differences between the different sets of libraries

  Each set of libraries is different in terms of :

  • Texts objects language configuration for L1/L2 
  • Labels in the library.dat 
  • Descriptions of variables in templates (Application Architect)

 For example, the same symbol containing a text will display the text using the langage  L1 of the installed library :

FrontVue

FV is designed to support multilanguage so there’s no need to supply 2 sets of libraries
